Matteo`s Pizza in Mount Forest

The Pizza was fresh and the ingredients were of quality. On a side note I was pleased they had " Brio" available. This is a 100% repeat trip for me. As a bonus heres a menu !!

They changed their recipe on their dough! And the lack of sauce is disappointing now. Use to be 5 stars..!!!

This place is amazing. The people who serve you are almost always nice and the owner is always friendly to customers. Not to mention their pizza is,in my opinion, the best in town

Stopped by for a quick sandwich and coffee. Reuben was tasty, but a bit skimpy on meat. Flavour was good, when you got further into the middle. Fair enough, it's not a fancy place. Asked for coffee (dining in) was asked what size and said large please. Staff then stated they only had one size of mug, but they'd refill it. Okay, sure. When it came to the table it was in a to-go cup? No refill. Okay, fine. I asked for a baked good from the case, and only received it because I chased it down. Finished my meal after 20 minutes and dropped my plate on the bucket near the back, loitered awkwardly, and then asked one of the staff sitting at the table nearby for my (paid for) item. Overall it's fine, but I wouldn't make a point to go there when I'm in town next.

Hey minor hockey parents from out of town!! Do yourself a favour and order a pizza for the ride home in the third period! Best pizza I’ve had in years. Amazing!!!!

Service was great, ordering was smooth, the pizza was very quick from order to pickup I found the pizza to be OK.

The best pizza not just in town, but in the top 3 places I have it. Fresh ingredients. Eat here.

I go in almost daily great place until I seen a customer go in with her 2 dogs and they allowed it. A place where they serve food is no place for pets.

Read lots of reviews, thought it was time to try this place. What a waste of money, toppings like Pepperoni are barely found on pizza plus dough deemed not cooked. Extremely disappointing for the price.. Stay away! Unfortunately have to give it one star in order to post..

We are new to the area and come from a city with a lot of food culture. This is absolutely the best pizza we have had in town! It is clear that the ingredients are made in house, and with care. The staff and atmosphere are top notch! When we need a quick dinner this is our go to always! They also offer fresh baked goods and enjoyed the challenge of creating a gluten free bread for me even though it's not a typical item for sale. It is clear that these folks love what they do.

Clean. Friendly. Pizza was ok. The crust was chewy. The non dairy toppings sparce. The cheese was plentiful. I have experienced better in other small town independent pizza shops.

just tries Matteos pizza in mount forest and by far the best pizza I've had in long time. have now found our regular pizza place. definitely recommend trying IF you haven't already.

Decent food but this is the second time ive ordered delivery and noone showed up, absolutely rediculous. They dont even call to let you know either complete ignorance

If you are going through Mt. Forest and like pizza definitely stop here. You can call ahead and pick up on your way through town. It is a family favourite even though we don't live nearby, but drive through sometimes.

Good service, friendly staff. Great pizza. Lots of toppings, no scrimping. Pizza was messy because there was more sauce, and toppings than many other pizza places put on. I would rather have messy and filling and tasty opposed to not enough fillings, noting and non-filling.

Great pizza. Luv the homemade sauce and delicious toppings. The service is normally ok. Had a blonde woman take my order recently, she was amazingly nice :)

If I could leave a zero star I would. Matteo's has made so many mistakes with my orders over the last few months it's incredible, and when I was promised a refund for my $70 order I was told when I called that I had no credit there. There dilevery drivers take hours to show up.The place is disgustingly dirty. Do not order pizza here.

Can be rude and poorly managed when owner is not there left with teens and had burnt hamburger with slice cheese not melted cold ..in my opinion when owner is there runs smoothly but when not there ..don't got terrible food and service...

I had a fly in my panzerotti and wasn't offered the refund.

Pizza’s are lazily thrown together with nothing spread out. No one wants two bites of toppings then plain for the rest of it! Not to mention the fact that half of it will end up on your plate since they couldn’t even be bothered to spead the cheese either. To the people who believe their getting more, Everything’s just dumped into a pile in the middle, spread it out and then compare. Don’t waste your money this is not real pizza.
